ok my canny Scots soul doesnt like to throw things away if they can be recylced, upcycled whatever cycled - ooh exercise - nope stick to creating lol.
Ok have lots of bits of card, papers etc - what to do, what to do hmmm then saw a video on making an itty bitty mini album, this works out at 2 1/4 by 3 1/2 inches as she used coin envelopes.
Didnt have the coin envies, these ones are not sold in UK (as far as I can tell lol) so had to make them hee he, of course, out of leftover card - see - no waste.
Need to give rightful due to the originator of the idea http://www.cardztv.blogspot.co.uk/
she has two videos on her blog, you can also see them on utube but means trawling through the site, easuer to use blog.
Here is my take, gonna make lots of these as Christmas pressies hee hee. Ok I know its only July but I need to get started lol.
Front of mini, not embellished yet as I am making them out of paper clay and it has not dried yet, although in this heat that wont take long :)
Front flap opened
Folded tag insert for photos, journalling
Inside of teensy weensy Mini Album
Right hand of centre is a trifold
Back of Mini

Side pockets have fold over tags
not sure to put paper on them or leave for journaling
Thinking perhaps a belly band or ribbon to close for a handbag, or make a wee open box for a couple of them to sit in on the desk, what do you think folks.
Made a wee pocket insert using the envelope punch board, it is a fab board and does more than make envies lol. Creativity goes to Angelwings14100 on utube for making this. Loved making it, want to make more and put together as a mini album, still deciding on binding method.
Front of insert closed
Front of pocket opened, top loading tag
back of pocket
back of pocket with tag insert
Used Pool Party cardstock (retiring) (no its not lol) and new Soho Subway DSP from Stampin Up.
has it been that long since I blogged, my goodness. Life and family have happened and my blog was way down on my list regrettably.
I got some fabulous happy mail from Carol, thank you soooo much, I adore the album and as it is photo heavy I made a slide show and of the one sent earlier. Would you believe blogger does not like my slideshow of the albums, so have set it up on my utube page Heavenlymam.
Fiona, you rock girl. Fiona (utube is jennings644, ustream is freestylecrafts) is an fantastic lady in attitude, care and creativity. She does a ustream class on a Friday and what she makes she gives away, what an amazing lady she is. I WON THIS WEEK's creation. WHOO HOO.
Wow it is even more amazing in real life, when you see her work it is fab, but having something in your hands that she has created well it left me speechless, and as you lot know, that takes a lot of doing ROFL.
Not only did she send me the box but she also put in some surprises, beads, charms, laces.
Wow Fiona you are such a caring and giving person, thank you sooooo much.
Here are the pics I managed to get, drool has been wiped off before posting lol.
Gorgeous shabby chic heart box, loved seeing it being created, makes it even more special.
Fiona makes the most amazing minatures. Here are the perfume bottles she made for the box, they are stunning.
Inside the box she padded it for stick pins. Fiona left the rose free for me to put in the box where I want it to go. Have not decided yet.
Again Fiona's creation, her stickpins are fantastic, love them to bits.
You need to go and see here stuff on utube and ustream. (Fiona has just started ustream so there is not many vids up yet lol)
Jim, The Gentleman Crafter on his Secret Sunday Ustream (not so secret cause we all know about it lol but he does not record it). It is an absolute hoot on Sundays. He is a nutter in the nicest sense.
You will end up with sore sides laughing so much.
Anyway, Sunday there he was practicing a make and take he wanted to do and this is my result. Loving it, not only that I now have the measurements to make the US coin envies HALLELUJAH.
Dont ask me what the paper line is all I know is it is K and Co. I have loads of sheets from leftover projects so trying to use them up before buying any more.
Had a lot of fun playing with my friend Lyn. Made a card for her to sell for funds for Robin House, a Childrens Hospice group. Had lots of fun making it. Also made Laura's notebook for her to sell as well. Lots of fun.
Also, doing the happy dance. I watch Fiona Jennings on ustream and utube, and on her ustream show what she makes she gives away and I get this weeks make yippee skippee. Cannot wait to get it here is a sneak peak for you if you are interested.
Good grief, or as Sir Jim is wont to say good gravy lol.

Sooooo I thought I would share this little recipe with you, for my birthday next month I got a cupcake/muffin machine yummo there goes the waistline, and I was googling, as you are wont to do of course, lol, to find some recipes savoury and sweet and came across this, have to share. Enjoy.

Ok heading off to the crafting dimension - see you some time this year, hi ho hi ho is off to hmmmmmmm better not said lol. Ok who hid the chocolate, need sustenance.
Good grief, what happened to the time. My Mother said that the older you get the faster time goes, hmmmm I think the older you get the more you have to do so you stop thinking about the time until you look up and go aaaaaargh ll.
Anyway have been beavering in the background. Started teaching some classes in Hobbycraft store (free table and can teach and use what I like, no restrictions yippee). My first class was today and started with simple enough as I did not know what the ladies levels were like.
So here are the piccies, they seem to have enjoyed it one even went to say it went spiffingly lol.
